Gothic View was built in 1884 as a Methodist Church and was converted into a family home in the late 1970’s and was one of the earliest conversions on the Isle of Wight.

Gothic View
Gothic View is a small, friendly Bed & Breakfast located in Chale Green on the rural south side of the Isle of Wight, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
We have three guest bedrooms all situated on the ground floor, accommodating a maximum of six people at any one time. However, due to the quirky nature of the building, there are several changes in levels and large steps at the front of the house, unfortunately making the accommodation difficult for people with limited mobility.
Come & see for yourself:
The Isle of Wight is a fantastic place to visit, with a relaxed atmosphere and attractions that cater for all age ranges. Chale Green is approximately 7 miles from Newport and 15 miles to both Freshwater in the west and Ryde in the east.
Our story:
After a long period of deliberation we finally moved to the Isle of Wight in July 2017 and are delighted to be living in such a beautiful area. Over the winter months we have completely modernised the property and look forward to welcoming guests into our home.
